Untitled Document $1 Stress Eliminator Hypnosis Title

"I have purchased your music, in fact, all 3 titles: Ananda, Pax and Somnis. My clients are commenting on how much they enjoy the music"
-- Katherine Zimmerman, CCHT, PhD, California Hypnotherapy Academy -

"I bought Ananda from you a month or so ago. I was wondering if you have made any other long mp3's in a similar vein. The music I find is dark and broody yet uplifting and spiritual - I really like it!"
--Garry Webster CHP(NC), PNLP, MNRHP

“Thank you Annie for composing Ananda. I am so glad I bought it! I particularly like the way the beat of the music gradually slows down, and when appropriate, by switching to track 2, the music speeds up again. Also, I have had several clients spontaneously comment how nice the music is.”
-- Paul Ogilvie, Shrewsbury, UK

“Annie,  I just wanted to thank you for creating such a beautiful piece of art.  The first time I listened to "Ananda" I had the most amazing energy meditation - like one of the best Reiki sessions I've ever had!  You, through your music, have the ability to calm and  clear my mind - this needs to be out there working in the Energy world!” -- Sue Weinert Hull, RDH,BS,CHt

What is Brain Entrainment?

Brain entrainment is not a new phenomenon. For thousands of years humans have used the flickering lights of fires, the beating of drums and whirling, changing objects to help induce a trance state. But with the advent of audio technology, science has sought to mimic the environmentally triggered brain entrainment with carefully designed tones and flickering lights. From the Dreammachine (a sound and light machine developed in the 1970’s and embraced by artists to help them achieve altered states) and the discover of binaural beats in that same decade, to the sophisticated technology of the 21st Century brainwave research is continuing to evolve.

Your brain uses electrical signals to communicate with the systems in your body. The rate of these electrical pulses, or brainwaves, can be measured using an EEG (electroencephalograph) machine. There have been 4 distinct brainwaves identified by what we are doing.

Alpha brainwaves oscillate in the frequency range of 8-12 Hz. This cycle of brainwaves I associated during periods of wakeful relaxation with closed eyes. A meditative walk surrounded by natural beauty could also lull the brain into an Alpha state even though the eyes are obviously open. A person who has completed a task and sits down to rest is often in an alpha state.

When the brain is aroused and actively engaged in mental activities, it generates beta waves. Beta waves oscillate in the frequency range of 15-40 Hz. This is the state that people are in when engrossed in work, interesting conversation and stimulating activities.

Theta brainwaves, are greater amplitude and slower frequency. This frequency range is normally oscillates between 5 and 8 Hz. Someone who sits at his desk and starts to daydream slips into theta quite easily. You can also slip into theta when driving home – how many times have you pulled into your driveway and realized you have no memory of the last few minutes!

Delta is sleep. Brainwaves oscillate between 2-4 Hz. Often during a 90 minute sleep cycle you will experience sleep at the lower end of Delta – this is dreamless state. As your brainwaves cycle upwards towards theta, you would experience dreams and REM.

Using brain entrainment technology with hypnosis is extremely effective. Different programs can be designed to enhance the effectiveness of the spoken word by bringing the subject into the desired state extremely quickly. There are different techniques versions of brain entrainment. However the general goal is the same. As the subject listens to tones or music pulsing at a particular frequency, his or her brain recognizes these rhythms and pulses and automatically starts to interact and to imitate them. uses brain entrainment technology in most of his sessions.
